I hate hate hate snakes. But my fishin spot has two water moccasins. One about two feet long and another almost three feet. Named the small one Jack and the longer one Daniels. :blah:

They aint moccasins in PA:p Little far north for them.

We see a ton of water snakes on the rivers and lakes around here. Mostly common watersnakes.....and they get the oar when ever possible

The Hawks, Eagles and Ospreys are hell on them!

I was always told they were moccasins.:confused:

Whatever they are they are pretty damn big enough to make a grown guy just a mile high and throw his fishing pole into the lake.:blah:

hahaha after I saw Zerologic say he always were told they were moccasins, i too remembered thats how i learned what they are. Checked into it. Apparently they only go up to Virginia. Oh well. We still got those stupid water snakes...:rolleyes:

We dont have too many big rattlers around here....but i have seen some GIANT water moccasins. My dads got a picture of him with one thats way over 6 feet.

that video gave me the willies. snakes are my biggest fear. hands down.

snakes skeeve me out so much that even when i drove near one in my truck i have to lift my feet up off the floor. its just a natural thing i do. i'm actually sitting squirming in my chair waiting for one to come out from behind my desk.

I can't say that I'm afraid of snakes but I don't go out of my way to get near them. Had that been me on that boat I would've been the F out of there as soon as that thing turned towards me. I was waiting for the kid on the back of the boat to overextend as he was trying to hit it with his fishing pole and fall in...

That was a big rattler, i would left him alone though not kill him. I kinda like snakes i had a couple as pets growing up.
