2001 lt80 vs 2007 lt80

I have a 01 lt80 with .030 off head, 2 rollers out of front clutch, lightened the rear shoes to 180g. New reeds,uni filter, 90 mj oil pump removed, spacer removed from carb and pipe. Also just installed a prox piston, rings wrist pin brg and top end gasket. But my problem is the 07 lt80 stock will still beat it in a drag race. All of the stuff i did to the 01 didn't make a difference at all. I have switched coil and the pipe with each other and nothinng made a difference. Does anybady have any ideas?

The stuff you did is for take-off.
If you put the 2 rollers back in, the 01 should be just as fast on top end.

Thanks i will try that right now. Mr lt80 can you port this cylinder with out a bore or hone job since i just had it done? Also will you have to shave the head again? thanks

I put all the rollers back in now it's a lot better.The 01 jumps out first then they stay the same speed on top end.
