ok here it is i had bought a 440 cyl. and piston from a guy that he could no longer use.. and i had sent my head out to get ported,and cleand and had new valves and guides put in....when i got everything pulled apart to send out..the decompression garbage on the cam did not work..and the extention to the rocker arm that opend the exaust valve was broke so i had the guy doing my head work take the decomp, lobes off the cam...
put everything back together and it wont run ...??? i am getting spark,gas and is in time.... and i am also getting smoke out of the exaust pipe so i know it is firing... but i am also getting smoke out of the lowerend breather that goes to the airbox... is this a piston ring problem??? or something else.... sorry about the long post but wanted to tell the whole story,thanks
