Limewire has a lot of viruses on the songs but if you preview the song before it finishes downloading and it works you shouldn't have a problem :)

if you know how to use limewire right, theres no problems

if you download bad videos:rolleyes: (porn)
screwed up music, pictures, etc. you will have problems

my buddy doesnt really know limewire that well and he downloads songs like crazy on my computor and i think it has a virus or two:scary:

make sure it:
1. has a bitrate between 100-300
2. has the correct title for the song and not just a bunch of jibberish(those are viruses)
3. listen to it first before you put it on a CD or Ipod becuase there are some songs that were recorded and sound like crap

just know what your doing and limewire will serve you right:)

they both use the Gnutella network so they are basically the same. If i had a choice, limewire. But as other people said. P2P apps are a thing of the past. Torrents are now the way of life. Whole CD's in minutes. Operating systems in about 15min.

Best part is, almost anyfile on limewire can be found as a torrent. All you need is a internet browser and a torrent client (ie: utorretn, bitlord, bitcomet) I prefer utorrent

Exactly. That's why I use it. You get twice as many search results with Frostwire than you do with regular Limewire. I haven't had a problem with Frostwire yet.

Ive been using limewire for 5 years. Just like what everyone else said just make sure the song works before it finishes downloading. I use macafee and I think out of the 5 years ive only had macafee tell me 5 or 6 times that their was something trying to infect my computer. Ive actually had my laptop crash more times in 2 years than my desktop that I have had for 5 years and on my laptop I dont get on any bad sites just my email this site, youtube and myspace and I dont even have limewire on my laptop.
