On my machine I have a full hmf sport system. I believe it is an older one. Where the header bolts up to the head it has separate flanges that the header slides over and is held on with springs. I haven't been able to find another one that looks like this. The springs always get heat soaks and end up lossening up. Has anybody tried to just have the flanges welded to the pipe itself? Do you think it would cause any adverse affects on the performance? Thanks in advance for any help guys.
