Take those part numbers to any auto parts store that carries Dupli-color and they should be able to order it in.

Paint comes off and looks like...shi....er....well...that you painted it.

Paint is fine.. I think black wheels make any quad look better. You can always touch them up too.

wow paint holds up just fine on wheels. if you do not have experience with that do not say it sucks.

i painted wheels on my old quad black and had no problems for a solid half a year of constant riding. i sold it shortly after but it held up very well. im sure i would have to do some touching up eventually, but it is WELL worth the savings of powdercoating.

like 7 bucks for some spraypaint. or like 150 for powdercoat..

Two different kinds of paint - I tried what people recommended - I even prepped it like they said.

Two rides after this picture was taken they looked like garbage after getting hit with a pressure washer:

YES!

We did my boyfriend's wheels on his 450R and my truck wheels..and they look rad AND the paint stayed. I even took my truck through the dunes and the sand didn't bother it one bit. If you do it right, it will work just fine.

Save yourself the $150-250 powercoat bill ;)

i agree with scuzz, I painted my rims a while ago, and once I took the pressure washer to them, the mud came off with the rims... but they looks great for a short while. I would save my time and money and get some black wheels later.

or u can just buy hiper rims like i did! and have wheels that can stand all type of abuse.

Why spend that kind of money on Hyper rims and not just get a powercoat job instead?

I say spraypaint: $7

..if it chips, sand it down, repaint it.

Hyper unfortunatly doesn't make wheels for the 700xx, but that's another thread entirely.

I think it would look good, but YOU have to decide what you like best.

On my red 400EX I wasn't very keen on it but since I now have a black quad I like it. Well, liked it. Now that it is peeling off I don't care for it at all.
