First of all..Ive heard of people removing the choke and i was wondering if u can feel a power difference without it.

Also how do u start it when its cold without the choke?

Power difference? yeah theres some to gain. for cold starts you put in a larger pilot jet and just pump the throttle a few times before you start it

Has anyone done so? is this really something that is really noticable when riding or is this something that is just noticable on a dyno?

Throttle response is a little better. There is a gain, but I seriously doubt you'll ever feel it in the seat of the pants. The main reason why people do it is because after the 42 pilot jet you really don't need it anymore. I've started mine in 20 degree weather after 4 pumps of the throttle and it idled perfectly.

That is pretty well what I do with mine to as I believe I have the 42 pilot in the stock carb.

I have been messing with stock carb and 450R carb jetting and re jetting not sure what is in what lol.
