Spal Fan

I know there are a few threads already on the spal fans but just wanted to know if anyone has ran the 4"spal fan on a STOCK oil cooler?? and I just wanted to know if anyone had any pics of their install?? any pics or info on this upgrade would help my decision!

90% of the people on here have them on a stock oil cooler. read the threads

Hey Don, I fabbed mine almost exactly how NacsMXer show'd on his write up, I did use 2 1/2" long bolts for mounting the fan to the cooler instead of the longer ones he needed for the bigger aftermarket cooler he installed and you dont need the smaller 2" mending plates that he uses for the stock oil cooler. The 6" mending plates work great and I was able to find a waterproof fuse holder at autozone for like $6. Good luck bro, and if you get stumped do another search cause a lot of people run these!

Here's mine on the stock cooler. It's been on for about 14 months and works great. I love having cooling on demand.
