got a little bit of black residue on exhaust tip. just wonding if this is normal? will it hurt my motor? if so what do i need to do to fix it? thanks

Black residue is usually a sign of running rich, Depending on how heavy it is.
Slight residue is ok stick your finger in and pull out a black nub prob running a bit to rich.
If you have that happen you most likely should be able to see it smoke now and then.
If no smoke while running its just a normal thing.

it runs good no smoke. i dont think im going to go anything about it. unless someone says otherwise

agree with above posts...i would rather have rich than lean...cheaper to replace a rich spark plug than having to rebuld a lean motor
even jetted the best you can without making custom jet sizes for in between you will see carbon on the end. Wipe it off and go for a ride, if its built up a lot in 1 ride you might want to adjust your fuel settings but if its a light coat its normal. Like mentioned better to be rich than lean.
