ha i would just forget you even have a parking brake. it probably doesnt work since 99% of them dont.

they work you just have to adjust them every other time u use it. i would just get a parking break block off and when u park it leave it in gear.

My quad literally has one ride on it, less than 3 hours and the parking brake no longer works. Forget about it. It's not very useful, anyway.

i just found out mine was supposed to have one but doesnt. the lever is there but the cable and whatever piece is supposed to be on the caliper is missing. i jsut leave it in gear, it wont go anywhere. plus i dont like letting my atv idle for too long. if im checking out a trail for example. i find it gets hot and runs like a bag of ***.

Maybe they fixed it my 08 never fails to set the parking break to unlock it just tap the brake pedal feed and it unlocks all brakes.

To set it you push the clutch forward push the button down pull the clutch back as far as possible then flip the switch to keep the clutch from going out.

Adjusting isnt hard I had to adjust mine a bit tighter from when I bought it (dealer didnt even set the tension on it) after that no problems.

i bought two 08's last year and after one ride both e brakes didnt work. havent really missed it

X2 on **** canning it and getting a block off, you can find em' for around $10.00 on ebay and it'll take you 15 mins to throw it on including ditching the old cable .............they're more trouble than they're worth IMO

I disagree with the rest of you. The parking assembly works great once it's in a garbage can.

It's one of the first mods that should be done, IMO. Remove the parking brake, cable and clutch perch. Buy a AOF perch and PB block off plate.
