****er keeps dieing on me when i'm riding i think it might be water in the gas or something clogging up the carb so we pulled everything apart today to look at the carb and see if there was anything stuck in the carb or if there were any signs of water. Didnt find **** but it happend to a friends last year and it ended up being a small bit of dirt clogging a jet in the carb so i'm thinking after riding tomorrow if it does it again i'll just pull the carb apart again and clean it since all my new parts come thursday so its gonna be back in pieces again anyway.

you should wash your quad so its spotless before you start wrenching on it. you will probably have a lot easier time working on it if its clean. just my two cents

ya def always clean it first or you may just knock more dirt in the carb. i run a k&n with outerware and a ehs racing lid works sweet, i ride muddy, wet trails all the time

The service manual show a small screen filter where your fuel line goes to the carb, so you may won't to check it out and see if it is still there and clean it if it is.

Was wondering if the fuel filter was inside the carb we looked yesterday for one on the outside but found nothing. so yea thats the next step tried it out today to see if we had done anything and nope its still running fine 1 sec then like **** the next so i'm gonna powerwash it in a few then start tearing it back apart. The rest of the **** i ordered comes thrursday anyway so it needs to be clean for me to work on it then..

nice choice of Adult Beverages. I live like 30min from the Stone brewery, some of the best I have ever had. And the quad looks good, all nice and clean.

Up until about 4--5 months ago we had not stone brewery products around here. Now were getting them all. I'm stocked up on Arrogant *******, Double ******* and Old Guardian. And yea it always looks better clean and after dumping all the gas into a bucket it looiks like it was about 1/4 water. Sucks cuz its been pissing me off for so long. But after this coming weekend it should be back to running awesome and i cant wait for my Mudlite SP's to come in so i can mount them and do the rear carrier barring and sprockets and chain. Get this thing ready for summer.

Stone has so many beers, its awesome to see that they are getting known and are shipping to more places, if you get runination out their try that out, great beer. I think I have had like 20 different beers from them so many special ones that i get living in san diego. but ya 1/4 water is never a good thing haha. My quad is out of commission for a while until i can save some funds and figure out what is wrong with it.

Thats not nice. You should read up on cellulite. Its not always from being overweight. I've seen overweight people that don't have it. My girlfriend has it, and you can see her hip bones. She said it started when she got her peroid. Right around puberty, and her mom had it when she was young and she wasn't overweight.

I thought the Cellulite crack was funny, didn't think he meant to offend.

Looks like you had quite a crowd when wrenching on your quad. Just keep an eye on 'em so you see if they do anything harmful by accident. And def. wash that thing before wrenching.

I told you the reason that water is getting into your gas tank on ther other thread you posted but you probably did not check it you dont need to tear down anything just replace your fuel with new stuff. The VENT HOSE that comes from the gas cap to the steering stem is what is drawing in the water the steering stem will hold water you need to cut the hose or buy the shorties for 6$

So its pretty much getting sucked into the tank? I think the water issue is more from when i sunk it but dont know i dont think that much water would get in through the vent hose but i could be wrong. All will be good after this weekend.

yeas the stem holds water and that could be your problem. Get a check valve topper for the line and you will be good to go.

I didnt ride after i sunk it cuz of ACL surgery and went out this winter and it was fine but now its just anything past 1/4 throttle and it just bogs and backfired and would start to die. I couldnt even keep up with my friends old *** warrior 350 lol
