so i just put my 250r back together and i had it running before and i had to adjust my floats cause it was pouring gas out of the overflow and now it wont get any spark can someone please help me

Check your harness connections, make sure they're connected and correct, also check your grounds, if you've painted or powdercoated anything, you'll need to clean them and make sure you have good contact.

where are the grounds at or is there any good diagrams and easy to read on how the wiring harness is hooked up

Are you checking spark correctly?

The engine needs to be kicked over fairly quickly to spark, if you're doing it slow you're not going to see anything.

yea im kicking it as fast as i would for tring to start it

The grounds on mine are landed under the bolt holding the left side upper radiator mount. Go through the harness and check connections. Follow the tech sticky at the top of the forum and meter out your electrical components.

And get a manual.

what year is it? i think the ground is under the gas tank on a littlie tab coming off the front of the frame.

idk what to do im getting good spark now but it wont start i dont know what to do with the carb
