there are 4 acres of land about 10 mins from my house for sale, i was wondering if 4 acres is enough to make a decent sized track?

and yes 4 acres is more then enought. back imagine an acre is 2 football feilds next to eachother (100 yards x 100 yards)

Definetly man, but ya gotta get some dirt and money to buy the land and dirt. Also some contrusction machinery to build..

yeah that's enough. we have 6 acres but it's all bushes and vegetation and we'd have to pay hundreds thousands? to get it cleared. we sold the trees on it one year to pay for the taxes on it.:rolleyes:. it would be a cool track if we could get it cleared. it's only like 10 bucks a ton of dirt.

Oh man, you guys would love where I live. In my town I would guess that four acres would go for $100,000 or more depending on location. House and property prices have tripled in the last ten years here.

that's it? oh well i'm sure that not commercial ground. the 6 acres i have is for sale at 700,000. if any of you can come up with that let me know. lol. there is a mall going in across the road and i'm sure somone will buy it to put a fast food restuartant or another store or competition or something. i hope. if i sells, new house, new quad, motocross track in my backyard.:blah

my house i just built is on 10 acres and the land cost me $23,000 and thats a huge amount. if i wanted to line 12 miles away i coulda got 10 acres for $9,000

4 acres is enough............
hauling in the dirt will cost you more than the land............unless you can get it for free from a nearby const site. sometimes the rock quarries will give away the dirt they have to remove in order to get to the rock layer.

it shouldn't take more than a day or 2 to build it if the guy knows what he is doing.

Hopefully you can use dirt from on site... Thats what I do... We own 100acers though, so I just grab dirt from where ever... Good luck on the track, make sure you show us some pics!

We have 400 acres of land that belongs to us, plus 250 acers of leased land:D I can show you a picture if you want!
