Got the numbers back from my DS on the dyno. Got 53hp on the back tires and 52 tq. I dont have stock number from this machine or dyno. My buddy did have his 500 big bore Honda on this dyno and made 56.5hp. So all in all I am pretty happy. This is stock bore, stroke and compression.

Rossier head porting
Web cams from Rossier
Full Rossier exhaust
Air filter and filter mount
Power Commander 3

I think you messed up on your typing.....52 tq, did you mena 32. I have the exact same motor as you and it did 48-32 with no tuning, just pink wire cut. Got my pc3 back and will tune it next week.

Rossier recommend any intake mods with his port work? ( Throttle body, intake elbow mods etc?)

Is there anyway you can email me the map for your pc3, I would like to use the same. I was going to get a custom map for mine and give to Charlie (rossier). My pc3 broke and I haven't done it yet though.

I am at work for another week. My buddy just picked it up for me and told me the numbers. Just going on what he said for hp and tq. Did not do piston it is stock.

Like I said I think it is reasonable compared to my buddies Honda.

sounds like some legit number. what's a 3 mod ltr doing on that same dyno?

Are you saying 52 tq sounds legit?

The hp is believable with the way dyno's read different. My honda 520 did 54 on the dyno 5 minutes after my Rossier DS did 48. Honda had 38 tq and DS had 32. My dyno run was with the pink wire cut because the pc3 broke when I got to the dyno, worked fine when I left the house... I figured the 52 tq was a misprint. Stoker motors have problems getting to 40 on the tq.

Like I said this is 2nd hand info... I am 5 hours from my bike and dyno sheets. There was no LTR on this dyno. The other was an Athena 500cc Honda stage 2 cam and whatever for compression on a 07 motor. He was 56.5. Dont know what the charts look like cuz I havnt seen them....

Should be home Friday and will scan and repost.:)

I am interested in what you gain from the PC3??

your dyno needs adjusting. Stock yfzr's are having troubles of there own making power.

Every dyno is different. I have rather large doubts that you would make more power then my friends big bore Honda on the SAME dyno. A dyno is used as a tuning devise. Having a base line and trying different things from there to see what your gains are.

I tuned my DS yesterday, It only made 44.73hp and 30.79tq.
I hope it would make more on H and H's dyno...:p

Did you get a chance to see the 09 YFZ450r there at the shop w/ cams, hc piston, FC intake, PC5, port, pipe, and more, we have tried 100 different cam grinds and can get more than 48hp/34 trq. Don't know what H&H is smokin b4 he looks at his dyno sheets or what dyno he using w/a correct factor of 100 lol, but more power to ya! :D

Yam has small ports, valves, intake, high revs then drops off, it's good low to mid power quad not for big hp.

Last year our tuned 450 never really broke the 50hp barrier - nearly but not quite, thats why I was v happy with damn near 58 on the new one, but it's the torque that gives my new motor all the 'punch', must dig out the figure for last years for comparison but i think that there is about 7ish pounds more this time...

ROFL I wana know where people are actually thinking that there bike is making 58 HP and 41 Tq with only a few bolt on mods. The KTM with an Exhaust and snorkle off and jetted makes a staggering 54 hp and 38 tq. There is no way on this earth that a yfz450r is making that kind of power with just a few bolt-on mods. That Dyno is way off!!!
