Dude, trust me, good headphones is like an investment. You can go out and buy your average $10 skullycandy ones, but the more expensive ones are worth every single penny. They make the music so much better, good bass, good crisp sound, its deff worth the money.

I just got them at my local RadioShack. I wasn't looking at the price and I was like  when the cashier said it was $50. But it was sooo worth it.

I've tried skullycandy. They don't compare to the more expensive in sound quality, and thats whats it's all about. I even tried my friends more expensive skullcandys and they were comparable to stock ipod headphones.

I spent $30 on the SkullCandy buds, and they were crap.

Ive also had the ones that feuerstack has (the Sony's) and they were pretty good.

The ones I have now came in at just over $400. And well worth every penny. I have NEVER in my life heard music as clear as these buds put out, with great bass, mids and treble.

I bought <a href="http://www.guitarcenter.com/Shure-SCL5-Dual-Driver-Sound-Isolating-Earphones-270698-i1372414.gc">these</a> at the local Guitar Center.

I know they're well out of most people spending range, but I had a $200 gift card and also traded in an old Les Paul that I never used anymore.

Quick question here! Do they make over the ear headphones for I-Pods? I'd like some for when I'm not riding.......which is why I like the earbuds!

i think skullcandy is overrated. my friend had a set and they sounded horrible, and after a couple months they started to crackle

you can use and headphone with a 3.5mm jack. so the answer would then be yes.

https://www.audiolinks.com/tek9/images/products/mdrex51lp.jpg iv had 4 sets of these, they dont last. one side will start cutting out and then after an hour or so completely quit working. my first set lasted a few months, some only lasted a week.

i went ahead and got the next level up "studio quality" ear buds from sony and they seem to be holding up a lot better.

i used to wear them 8 hours a day at work, i would listen to someone who has tested the crap out of them. those ear buds will break...go with the more expensive studio quality sonys.

I used to wear the 7 hours a night for work(i was working nights) and mine held up. Either way, the point is, don't cheap out and get skullycandys or something, get some good headphones.
