cameras in phones

does anyone else think that the phones with 5 MP cameras are ridiculous? like the behold, eternity, omnia. and apparently t-mobile now has one with 8! idk about anyone else, but i think its pointless to pay 300 dollars for a phone with an 8mp camera when i can get one with 2 or 3.2 for a lot less and the phones works JUST as good.

I think mine is like a 4 megapixel and I was so anxious to litter the thing with feminity that I bought this purple flowered cover (and regret, oh ever so dearly) that little to my dismay, hid my SD card...

Now I can't pry the dang cover off for nothin! :(

There is WAY more to a camera than the number of MP.
