I have been working all winter long to get these Jays to accept me. They would be everywhere and the second I went outside they would long gone.

So the other day, I installed a platform feeder righ near one of the doors to my shop and left the door open. If they wanted food they would have deal with Metalica blaring and me walking around.

2 days later....I can go out and sit with them:D

I get overran with them daily. They LOVE unsalted peanuts, you ought to see the chipmonks try to take the peanuts away from them I swear one day one of them is going to jump on their backs:macho

I think everything around these parts is tired of the rain:p This Mockingbird was raising hell and when I walked to see what the fuss was, I could see the raindrops had started again

The jays were back and when I looked at them from the shop, they were all over that log (its filled with sunflower seeds) I went inside and got my camera and then they wouldnt do anything besides hop around the platform haha...:mad: :p

nice pics pap, ya blue jays love peanuts, we probly got like 20 of em around here, just feed em a cup of shelled peanuts, they will stick around, nice pic of the boston orrial(i think thats what it is), they are hard to find, as are cardinal's, we had a pair here last year.

Baltimore Oriole

I have two nest pair here. One, I will have to climb up on my garage roof to get shots of, but its done nothing but rain here it seems for weeks
