2006 Trx300 Ex

My girlfriend has this quad and so I was wondering what we could do to open it up some. What mods can be done to this? It seems really low geared so it probably is more of a trail bike than anything but it definitely needs to breathe some more. Any help with that would be appreciated!!!!

Also does anyone know of a specific site or forum dedicated to this model?

your in a 300ex forum dude :) the 300ex is a great little trail bike. if you want some more poniies I would start with an exhaust, air filter and jets first. maybe a cam. If you still need more there are lots of different big bore kits you can get to turn that thing into a little screamer. Also a new set of good tires will beneficial. But where the 300 lacks is in suspension I would suggest putting some money into shocks, a-arms, and an axle and that should be all you need.

just make sure you don't get a cobra exhaust they have more bark than bite. They may be the cheapest but its for a reason.
