Are Air Scoops Worth The Money? And How Well Do They Work

For a stock bore just putting around trail riding I would have to say no but then again the more air running towards and by an air cooled engine the better. There have been some on here that have gotten really good deals on ebay for them. I would check there. If you have a large bore (440, Etc) Then I would have to say yes.

Just installed a set yesterday.

Painted black. They were sold from RMATV for my bike but to get them to fit the 2008 I had to bend the top taps up and in.

When holding the hand behind them its like holding it in front of a fan really dose work and looks are a cool factor to.

Anything moving more air to keep a air cooled head cooler is for the better even if it was a keepler elf strapped to the frame blowing on the motor head the cooler the better.
