I just bought new tires for my KFX 400. On the front I decided to go with a 21" tall tire instead of the stock 22" size.
What does this do to my steering response/handling??

I know on my R1 when I went down to a smaller tire in front I had a lot quicker turn in on the corners....

Con - you will loose a little bit of ground clearance. Pro - less sidewall flex, which means more precise turning. A 21" front is the most common in the XC/trailriding world. You made a good decision.;)

Nice car by the way.

it will make it turn quicker for sure. did you keep the back the same size?
if you want to play in the turns on the r1 i would run the stock size. it turns in better but dont hold the turn as good. i run michelin pilot power 2cts on my bike for the street and love them.

Same Rear size.... That car will be gone Sunday!! I've had it for sale for 4 months and finally, a hot girl came and looked at it and she's picking it up this weekend. Thats a $550/mth garage ornament because I never drive it, just sits there lookin good..:grr:

$550 a month!?!?! rediculous I hate payments I like to either have the full amount or not buy it. I'm young and have 2 cars and a quad. Paid for in full by myself I just like knowing its mine. Selling the other car though then not sure what to do with the money.

You will like the 21" fronts. What size rear are you running? Nice looking setup in the garage there!

$550 a month? That seems cheap for that ride... I'm paying more than that on a used F250.
