anyone have one of these bikes? how are they in size and power? i have a cr-125 and i am looking to get a four stroke but the 250f's are the same size as the 125's i assume and i want a bike that i won't get bored with the power yet be able to throw it around with ease.

I'm confused as to why you would want to move from a 125 2-stroke to a 150 4-stroke.

i never said anything about that. i have a 416ex that i am selling and i am debating over a 150r to a 250f. i am keeping the 125.

If your over 5'8" dont get the 150. its so small and since you were already on a 125 youll be bored with the 150.

So go with the 250

I am 5-10" and I have a Yamaha TTR-125LE. Same size and idea as that bike just a tamer woods style bike. I really enjoy it. Its so easy to manhandle and throw around. The trails I ride on are SUPER tight trails where I am forced to keep speeds really low. I am generally never out of 2nd. I have access to a KDX200 and a YZF450 too. Neither is any fun at all because your always in 1st working the clutch on those kind of trails.

idk those 150s have some balls, i did see one take holeshot on a gate full 250s, and take 2nd the next moto, but ya youd probably better off on a 250 you probably wont grow out of it as fast

if you want it just as a play bike to be able to throw around easy and have fun on it would be perfect. its about the size of an 85, but it will outrun a kx100. if your looking for a bigger bike to get serious with, then go wit the 250f
