4runner to pull quad and dirtbike. What you guys think?

Im thinking of getting a 06 4runner with a 4.0L engine and 4WD. I haul about 1000 pounds. What you guys think of this truck. Or maybe you have and alternative to this truck, preferable japanese. Thanks

my sister used to pull her raptor350 sons 85 and husbands 250 with the 4.0 4runner they rescently upgraded to the 4.7v8, the v6 should be fine though

how far are you hauling?
is it uphill?
is the trailer your pulling have some girth to it?

just look at where your going to tow, if its mostly uphill and the truck doesnt like it,try a different route, or pick up some upgrades for horsepower (intake/exhuast)

i have a 92 4.0L ranger 2WD and it hauls my quad and some other crap around without a problem
