Proper oil level for TRX 400 EX

Need to know something. I checked my oil level in my TRX 400 EX after warming it up for about 4 min. It was fine. Then I rode it for about 5 min . moderately hard, checked it again and nothing on the dip stick. Is this right? I assume the oil is now in the engine and not much in the oil tank? Right?

correct. revving the engine just causes an inaccurate reading, as it pushes the oil throughout the engine a little more.

So how much does it require to properly fill?

just shy of 2 liters, 1.94 i believe if you change the filter.

Quarts not liters but yea it is just shy of 2 quarts. 1.8-1.9 something. I put 2 quarts in and am good to go pretty much. If you really want to i guess you could measure it out but i dont. steve
