Do the cam mod and you'll have the LTR covered.

The QS2 does the same thing as changing the leak jet. It removed the "bog" but doesn't really make it "faster".

After the cam mod do this tip. If you are jetted correctly it will improve the throttle response drastically. Hint: Don't use an O-ring, try a small zip-tie or some small diameter wire.

Before I did the cam mod (mods in sig), I was still beating stock ltr's by a quad length or so. I haven't got a run in yet with the cam mod against an LTR, but I know for sure its got alot more pep!

BTW, I don't think the zip tie trick will be necessary if you are gonna install the boyseen quickshot.

In most cases the quick shot has no effect on fixing the bogging problem. The most common cure is doing the zip tye mod and installing a 35 leak jet. Of course you still need to jet your bike. Yes the cam mod is an awesome free mod and will help your machine make much more power. All of this is from my personal experience.

Yes the zip tye mod will work with or without the cam mod. Basically what the zip tye mod does is to activate the accelerator pump at the same time the throttle is cracked open. Based on your sig I would start with a 45 pilot jet and try a 158, 160, 162, and 165 main jets. While you are at the dealership pick up a 35 leak jet. That used with the ziptye mod will really help the off throttle response.

I disagree... I had a terrible bog problem off the bottom, and the quickshot fixed it right up, I haven't hit that bog spot since I installed it.

theres a bunch of ways of fixing this problem.... The cheapest way would obviously be the zip-tie trick.
