either with the stage 2 hotcam would be really nice. i would go 416 first, tehn you have another bore but you can build some very strong 426's also. Steve

I just finished mine, and i put a 416 11.5:1 JE, and a stage 2 hotcam, and i am very pleased with the results. You might lose a little low end with a stage 2 compared to a stage 1, but with the increase in comp it is not a big deal at all. If you like the open field/ dune riding, you will probably be better suited with the stage 2. If you need more low end, drop a tooth on the front sprocket, but i doubt you will have any problems.

A ported head will make up for that loss at low end.

If your running trails mostly and your ride hard I would leave it stock with a stage 1 cam. If your doing the dunes more often I would do the 426 but have it sleeved along with boring and do the stage 2.
