Front seat grommets

I lost one of the grommets for the seat. Cheapest I found was 6 bucks a piece plus shipping. I got the idea from an old post on this board figured I'd post some pics since I'm bored. They fit very snug no way there going to come off unless you really want them off. I got them from Advance Auto Parts on there "help" isle for $4.89.

Good idea, I have one I gotta keep an eye on, it's came off a few times now. Have to check those out. :macho

I had that problem years ago with them wanting to come off. All I did was poke a small hole in side that doesn't have the hole, and ran a zip tie all the way around it. It's a 100% fix that has worked for years. Try it out if you haven't lost your original ones already ;)

I already lost the one, that's why I had to improvise. When I go riding I put my wallet, cell phone and keys in a zip lock bag and put it in my air box so I can lock up the truck and not have to worry about losing anything. Taking the seat on and off last time I rode I must have lost one.

yep, same here. found that tip on some website about setting up an EX for MX.

Hey Nacs, as soon as i got done reading your post I popped outside and ziptied my grommets, props on the idea! Definetly a good free mod
