hotcam stage 2 vs stock cam---valve clearence

ok i just checked my valve clearences 2 weeks ago, and they were in spec. well i ordered a hotcam stage 2 today, will i need to re-shim with the new cam? or if it was good with the stock cam will it be good with the new cam?

it will probably okay, but when you put it in, and torque down the carrier, double check them, i think a half hour of checkin and changin is worth it.

Agreed. Check it just to be safe. 30 minutes could save you alot of money.
