no headlights draining my battery

my battery has been draing a lot lately and my friend told me that since my yfz is an 05 and i took the head lights out it would drain my battery. he thought they made a kit to fix it but he wasnt sure. is any of that sound right or is it all BS.

It's called a resistor kit. They used to sell them all over ebay but I don't see any. Call your local dealer as it runs around $50.

Ride1Rob is absolutely correct. Ended up killing 3 batteries on my '04. Thing was a pain in the a*s!!!
