Hey Guys,

I took a video today hoping that somebody could understand what could be making this sound.

Valves, piston slap, chain?

Please let me know if this is uncommon.

Thanks,
Dan

Do you know how to check how many clicks are left on your cam chain tensioner? If not you remove the bolt that the end then take out the whole tensioner n count the clicks left if theres less that about 4 you need to replace the cam chain. If thats not it your valves might need shimmed.

Thanks for the advise Knoxville,
Do I have to set it to TDC before I take the tensioner out and put it back in?

no it will not move your cams just do now turn your motor on or crank it over with the tensioner out. I have a bad tick too but i have just put a new tensioner in so i know its not that
