I have a 2006 YFZ 450 that i just got saturday it has a temp. gauge on it and I was wondering at what temp the fan should usually kick on. I was pushing 225 and nothing happened when the bike was shut down and the key was left on along with the kill switch on the run position. Any ideas before i start tearing into it. Thanks.

cut the wires and hook up a toggle switch to run the fan..u dont need to use the wires from the plug going into the rad. just the two coming from the wiring harness

my quad would get so hot i could feel it through my boots and it would never kick on.. there is a red wire and a blue wiring running to a black plug on the throttle side of the radiator. cut the wires and run a toggle switch to them hope this helps
