which oil do you 400 guys use? i use amsoil but i dont like it that much. mobil 20 50 4 stroke synthetic is what i ran in my 300 and i loved it but i was turned onto amsoil.

Rotella T 5w40 synthetic no problems. Made the top end tick on my motor almost silent compared to honda gn4.

i started using Lucas 10w30 synthetic. i like it a lot better than the honda GN4

Same here. Used GN-4 from the time I bought the quad new in 99', switched to HP4 w/o moly last year. As long as I own this machine it will see nothing but Honda oil and OE Honda oil filters.

Used to use nothing but HP4.. but I was turned to Mobil 1 15w50. You can get it at walmart or anywhere and its cheaper. Its also a FULL synthetic, unlike HP4. My 400 runs so much cooler with this oil.

been using this on my Honda 250 for a while and i noticesd the difference once i switched

I only use Mobil 1 15w50. Used it in all my bikes and never had a problem.
