brakes?

My 2004 400ex is having front brake issues. They don't get pressure unless I squeeze them a few times before using them. Once I do this they work but still don't seem like they are grabbing fully. I have bled them (multiple times)and changed the pads. Problem is still there. are the discs or the lines possibly toast? How are they suppossed to feel. I can't get the rear wheels off the ground no matter how hard I throw my weight forward. My buddies quads will do this, but thats not what I'm looking for the advice for. I just want to stop when I need to. Any suggestions would be great. Should I do new lines and rotors or what or how should I check these brakes?

Sounds like the master cylinder needs to be rebuilt.

Also change out all the brake fluid in the system with brand new fluid and check all the connections and make sure they are tight and sealed!!
