Spark Plug is kickin my @zz

ive been trying to remove my spark plug out of my 02 400ex. I have this kit

It still will not grab the spark plug. WTF am I missing. :confused:

nothing.put the yellow colored thing on the plug then put something through the holes and twist it

You might need to buy a new one. Those sockets are so thin and made of cheap metal. They round out pretty easily.

Do you think its possible for the spark plug to be rounded?

Possible but not likely. The plugs are harder than the wrench.

I found 3 bad ones the other day at my mechanics shop. Some guys don't throw anything away.

i would highly doubt that.It would break first before the lug rounded off.Verify that you are actually all the way seated on the plug before you try and turn it out.use a deep well socket if you have to.:)

I used a cheap plug socket from advance auto parts, its thinner than the oem socket so it fits better, then put a socket and ratchet on that and it works good.
