Help please

Guys, I am in the middle of installing +2 A-Arms and I cant get the stock A-Arm ball joints separated from the hub. Is there a trick to this that I have overlooked? Thanks

I just did mine and took a hammer and a piece of wood (so not to damage anything) and banged on the spindle (not real hard) until they came loose.
