View Full Version : right tires for dirt/mud/ trail riding

hey guys, nother question, i do alot of trail ridin with bigger quads sometimes dirt , clay or mud, and sometime im just out climbing hills alone. i was looking at the holeshot xct kits? can yall gimme some tips on the best tire to buy for what i do?

A good all aroud tire I have seen is the maxxis razor

ur best bet would be razr's or regualar holshots because of the spaced out knobs or u could try the kendy knarlys they look good ur tires may wear allitle fast on rocks like that but anything gunna wear fast on rocks

I have been riding Holeshot XCR's and found them good in the woods (semi-dry) and fun to slide on the logging roads... love em until its real it's real wet. ..

Once you get em full, hill climbing can sometimes be a problem... Personally, I just bought a set of 10" Beadlocks and 22" Spidertracks..for hills and muddy days, and expecially, those days spent with buds on Rubicons.....Alot of EX riders also seem to like (Realtors).. good luck

i have a set of 21' mudsharks, these are great tires for mud, traisl and play riden, they work good in hill climbing to, let me know if ya want em, 125

go with the holeshot xc t 21 X 11 X 9 the offer a little more ground clerance for the skid.:rolleyes:
