I have seen a few of these sell they all seem to be around $4800.

I have a 08 400ex I gave $5800 for it off the showroom floor. They retail for $6200 so its a bit off the Original price but I honestly would save a bit of money and buy like a 06 or something 400ex you can get one for around $3000

idk about a ktm but i would like to get a 450 but i dont think im ready for a 450 and my dad thinks i dont need anything new but thanks for the replys by the time i get the money it will be gone unless he goes alot lower. but some local dealers have some 07 left overs that they are trying to get rid of for like 3800 so that might be my best bet thanks.

I'll second that you should look at a used 06. Got mine in mint condition for around $3000. Then you have money left over for mods. A new 07 is another option as mentioned above.
