is there and way to make scratches less noticable? my scratches are where they change the color of the aluminum. is there anyway to fix this??

sure ya can, just gota buff them out. Im no polishing expert but youd need to use some medium grit sand paper and work your way down to smaller and smaller scratchs, then polish.
thats just a VERY rough desription of what you'll need to do!

well i was thinking about that but is there a finish on the rim? cause if so won't it look funny?

That's a possibility, But I dont think so. I wouldnt let that thought stop ya, most of the people on here probably polish their wheels semi-regularly.

There is a finish on the rims. Get some paint stripper and take it off, then polish the bare aluminum.

next time i get new tires i'm getting them with rims. is the price at rockymountain per rim and tire??

Do you have to take off the finish first? Cant u just sand if off. What size grit would you start with and work down too?

You could sand it, but it would take you the rest of your life...I would suggest using aircraft stripper, should be at your local farm supply store and some walmarts.

i would start with some 1 steel wood around the area. then work your way down to 00. take the mothers and put some on the steel wool. after u are all done take a rage and mother to blend in the polished area with the rest. hope this helps
