Whats going on with the lead ban, does anyone have any information on it. I want to buy my daughter a pink Suzuki 50 this summer. thanks
2 things my friend,
1) the LTA50 is a slug at best. A dependable slug, but it's your decision.
2) The DRR's and/or Apex machines are MUCH better machines and have the proper compliance to sell to the public with this lead ban thing. A 50 can be made into a 70 for when a lil more is needed also. Not so with the Zuki.

LT80 is right. The DRR's dont have any lead issues. I did read where the committee was holding off on enforcement for another year to allow the manufacturers more time.
The LTZ 50 isnt that bad for a first time young rider. It was my sons first quad @ 4 years old. It was good for about a year then we put spacers and a CDI on it and that got us another 7 months...They out grow that little quad very quickly.
We race the DRR 90 & 70 now and use the LTZ 90's for trail riding.

Thanks guys, this quad would be for my 6 year old daughter. I am not looking for something to race or anything, just something she can ride around to get her started. I hope I can purchase one here soon. I am going to go check my dealer out and see if they are selling them.
There is a "stay" on enforcement till 2011.
You should be able to get anything now.
