Wire Underneath Snorkel Cover

Underneathe the plastic cover for the snorkel off the airbox theres awire which runs into a metal probe sensor that goes into the T/B what sensor is this??? I had to move all this stuff around to put in my subframe brace just wondering if any of that stuff is ssnsitive to movement???

Also whats the deal with the cheap clamps that connect the hoses to the valve body any issues with the leaking dirt???
