DWT or Hipers or some other whack brand? What beadlocks are we talking about here?

I run Hypers and never torque them.I know your supposed to i belive 10ft.lbs. I just tighten them all eveny in a criss cross pattern with a dewalt power drill with a 12pt socket till the bead ring is almost seated.then finish them up with a hand ratchet until the ring is seated against the rim.I have done about half a dozen sets of wheels this way and never broke a bolt or had tire issues on my race or trail tires.

I run hipers. I used the torque to the 8 or 10. That messed them up. I just snugged them up & went w/ that. it works.

I just got a set of the new G2 Douglas beadlocks about two weeks ago. I torqued the bolts to 10 ft/lbs with no problems. Rode on them over the weekend and everything was fine.

The only reason I have ever broke the bolts in my DWT's was when I got the bolt cross-threaded. I just tighten mine with a drill, with the clutch at about the half way mark.
