I found a place online last year when i bent it that was a performance shop that sold take-off parts cheap so i got the tierod and tierod ends for $10 shipped. It worked out good since my friend needed a new end and i needed the rod so we just split it 5/5. But i'm thinking I need to get something stronger since i dont remember hitting anything hard to bend it so wtf. I also need to get new carrier barrings for the rear axle ( i think thats what they are called) and new sprocket and chain. What sites do you guys use to get parts at a decent price.

SRD makes stronger tie rods.

For chain/sprockets rockymountainatv.com is probably your best bet.
I like the RK XW ring.

For carrier bearings I'd only replace them with OEM if you are going to rebuild the stock carrier.
Last the longest IMO.

Last the longest IMO. yea i plan to stay OEM on the carrier but i'm still thinking about staying with the same size sproket in the rear and maybe 1 tooth smaller in the front since 99% of my riding is in the woods and 50% is on tight *** trails and i need to lower the gearing a bit. I think dropping 1 in the front is the right way to go right? I was also thinking about taking a stainless 1/8" or bigger tube and put it over the tierod's and tac weld them on and that would make it a bit stronger :dunno:

Yeah your correct about going 1 tooth down on the front sprocket.

1 tooth down in the front is equal to about 3 teeth up in the rear.
