450r shocks opinion

Just looking for opinions on these shocks i can get locally. and how much they are worth and would i need to do anything to them before i install. i know the quad looks beat to h***. thanks

Dont pay more than $150 shipped for the R shocks. I had 3 pairs for $125 shipped, 1 for $135 shipped and 1 for $150 shipped. Great mod I would be hospitalized quite a few times without them lol

anywhere anywhere around 150 is about what there worth, i got mine for 160 shipped to my door, so thats about 150... 180 and above it getting to high.... i would never pay over 175, you can hold out and find them cheaper. they are decent shocks, most people will tell you that you need to have them revavled for your style of riding and weight... i think it's 150 from gt thunder.. but i didn't i just put them on and said screw it... and they work just fine for me.... i honstly think if you never had a really good set of shocks before you will never know the diff.

how did u beat me to the post... if you found 3 pairs for 125 then you got three screamin' deals... i have ever yet to see ANY for sale for under 150...

not saying there not there, but i have never seen so lucky.. otherwise i would have a set on the R too

I have 450r shocks on my 400ex. But they are not a shock to they are revavled and resprung. I saved up and had them revavled by Jet suspension and it was the best money I every spent. I would take revavled shocks over any motor mod any day. If you don't revavle them you are better of buying new 400ex stock shocks off ebay they are softer than stock 450r shocks. IMO

longer A-arms will make them softer and will lower the gc some.

i honestly love the upgrade. i just bought a set and slapped them on and the ride is so much better. i weigh 250 tho and the stiffer shock really helps. highly recommend over the stockers
