89 clutch upgrade

can someone tell me what the 89 clutch upgrade consist of? i have a stroked esr 310 and just found the weekest link i slip hard from 4th through 6th. im running a stock 87 set up right now. any info will help. thanks

oh forgot to mension im running a hinson basket and dont know if its a 7 or an 8 plate basket.
