the good old days of racing. my pops bought and raced a quad racer in the beginning of 86. and ended up the season on a 250r. the honda were way more advanced then those suzukis. i can still remember sitting on the tank while he road me around the pit, holding the cross bar and leaning in the turns like i was actually doing something. wish things were as simple as they were when i was 6 :D

There is a link on that floating around either the open forum or the 250r section that is that actual tv show. It has 2 motos of the quads which they call the "ATV 4 Pro 250 Class" or something like that and 2 motos of 125's. 2 different 250r's won the 2 motos but an LT got the overall. I can try and find it again if anyone is interested.

wow, suspension sure has changed, and did anyone notice the lack of jumps on the track. The tracks have probably changed just as much as the quads have

I'd almost bet most of those guys were trike racers that had just swapped! My boss joined the quad band wagon back in 86, I acutally bought his 250r. He had the first one in my area back then. :)

I just wish they didn't have that over played song and used the engine sound instead! :macho

Man that vid brings back memory's. I was looking for Team Honda Riders Steve "Too Tight" Wright and Rodney Gentry and Team Suzuki's Gary Denton but then seen it was the golden state nats. Any buddy know if the Golden state track is still there any more. Glad to see a vid with the Bulldog winning as he is/was my favorite rider of all time. Nice find.
