now you ask...Ive had a set of PW2's on 8x8 rims. Ran them 1 weekend in the dunes 3 years ago. Been sitting in my shop, we used them once in a while to roll bikes around (easier than haulers) with.

Sold them about 3 weeks ago for $150

damn that sucks. I run every now and again at a local 300ft strip and just curious to try a set out. I hear good things.

they dayum sure hook! if/when you do get a set, mount them on the widest wheels ya can get. tremendously shortens the rotational mass and makes them much wider with more tire to the ground. ;)

I had a set of OEM 400ex rears 9" I planned on mounting them on. I rather have 8" rims but thats what ima try to work with

IMO the Pro-Wedge tire is the better choice. The treads on the tire are much stiffer and resist folding much better than the 4-Snows. Both tires grow in diameter during acceleration which offers taller gearing as you continue down the track.

pro wedge 2 mounted on in reverse pattern best tire you also dont want a wide rim you will take all the roll out out of that tire and lose alot of top end
i have both 4 snow and pro wedge pro wedge by far is the way to go

The pro wedge 2 only came in 8 inch rims, and are not as easily accessible than the other 2 sets. I ordered a set of 4 snow last night from jc whitney for 89$ shipped to my door. I dont think thats a bad deal!

If you ever get a chance to try a set of PW tires, you'll see the difference.
