in the middle of a 250x/350x hybrid and the timing chain is clattering does anyone know if the timing chain has a master link on it

there is no master link on a timing chain... if it chatters then you need a new one and i would think about a HD...

i just put a new piston in and had it running then it wouldnt start and then froze up when i took the rocker panel off. the piston freed up what do you think can cause this to happen

im not sure.. thats kinda weird...

the motor was locked up?

there is no damage to the piston or valves what i think happened is when i was starting it the compression release got jammed on the rocker there fore binding on the cam causing the piston to not move. but there is a new camchain in it now

anyone know the thread size of the the oil pump lock nut i know it is left handed and 20 mm but dont know the thread size
