wonder who will step it up this weekend, its Wienen's home track so he would be the favorite if he can put it all together

that sucks bad. he's gonna have that issue now with his shoulder for the rest of his career. once you have a stage 3 seperation(which thats what sounds like he has) its going to be popping in and out constantly. for his sake, i hope its not as bad as it sounds.

get well soon dustin. hope you have a speedy recovery :D

I also hope he has a speedy recovery. I was hoping to see someone else take the championship but not this way.

if bryd keeps riding the way he has been i think he has it wrapped up, he has a 58 point lead over creamer, wienen is next in point followed by natalie

its going to get interesting really quickly, i think whoever comes into this weekend and does the best out of them 4 will take the championship, that just my 2 cents anyway

go natalie btw

“I was out practicing and was starting my first moto when I went over a tabletop and my axle broke. I got ejected from the bike and landed on my right shoulder. I got up pretty quickly and I started moving my arms and legs to make sure nothing was hurt and when I looked at my right arm, it moved weird and I immediately knew something was wrong. When I went to grab my shoulder through my jersey, I could feel that my shoulder was about five inches from where it should be. I could feel the hole in my socket where my shoulder should have been. I could tell it was dislocated pretty bad.
I tried to get off the track—actually Pat Brown tried to help me get off the track and I passed out three times from the pain. Finally the third time I got up my shoulder popped back into place by itself and there was instant relief. The next day I went to see a specialist and they told me I have to go back in two weeks for a checkup. But it looks like I might be in a sling and off the bike anywhere between six to eight weeks.
I can’t even begin to tell you how frustrating this situation is. After having such a strong start to the season, this is just beyond frustrating. I won the first three out of four races, I was leading the points, and I was absolutely riding at the top of my game. Having this injury sideline me is just unreal.
I’d like to thank my fans for all their support. Obviously I won’t be at the next round, but I’m hoping to make it to the following race if everything goes according to plans. I’ll be back as soon as I can. And once again I’d like to thank all my sponsors and the team for all their support so far this year. The Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki/Yoshimura team is a great team to race for and I can’t wait to get back to action.”

Harlen just got off the phone with Dustin:

In Georgia, practicing sunday, his axle broke and sent him flying, landing on his shoulder. Rotor Cuff injured and fractured the ball socket of his arm. 6 weeks is his estimated time out.

Thats a tough break, I hope he heals up quick and as pain free as possible!

 ...... whatever you say buddy. Take it easy on those pain meds. haha

I'd imagine Wimmer is pretty heated right now. He was on his way to taking a championship and I was pulling for him. He definately put in the time over the off season. Heal up quick bud!!

That truly stinks for Wimmer. Shoulder injuries of that magnitude are forever. I have had to have labrum repair on both sides and it never goes away. I think Byrd will set it on auto pilot and make away with this championship. I expect Wimmer to be one of the main contenders next year.

i dislocated my shoulder about 3 years ago at jolly roger msp in NH, ill never forget the feeling of pushing my pointer finger into the socket and feeling my finger just sink into my shoulder. I would say that it pops back out maybe once a month, sometimes less. Its painfull but it gets to the point where you learn to work around it and getting it back into the socket immediatly is the trick.
