When boring the stock FCR carb on the 06 current TRX450R, what all is precisely modified?

More specifically, is it a requirement to replace/modify the throttle slide?

the carb is disassembled down to the throttle body, then bored, then reassembled with a NEW BILLET VENTURI center ring....
