I'm at this AWRCS race and I hear this guy talking about this new Apex.
Sure looks like a nice quad. IMO this a great quad to start a race build. It's considered race ready out of the box with nerfs and such.
The guy was nice enough to let me tool it around in the limited space we had. Well,,,what a turd off the line and in the 25 yards I had to go, the speed could have been much better. Course, with taking 5 yards to get it going...
I mention that I'm used to standing a machine on end out of the hole and the guy says: You have to let it warm up, once warm the rear spring works. When the kid is on it it takes off good.
Poor guy. Whada ya mean the spring needs to heat up. We fought with spring fade for years from heat and he wants em hot..LOL
I didn't mention to him that I know a lil about motors and clutchs. :)
He was content with his knowledge and I was getting ready to race. LMAO
