I have just replaced this Big Gun system with a new LRD quiet core / spark arrestor model. Oregon has changed their laws and this system is now illegal to run on the dunes.
It has NEVER seen dirt, only sand.
The head pipe and stinger tube are both ceramic coated grey, the silencer can is polished and the end cap is chromed.
The silencer is freshly packed by LRD, but still wont meet the Oregon 93 decibel law.
There is some damage. On the under side of the silencer it meet with the rear caliper and dented it. The stinger tube was massaged a lil to clear the plastics. It has since been wrapped in header wrap and you cant see it. Both items are shown below.
